The early years of education are a vital time of learning and development for your child. We ensure that basic skills and knowledge in reading, writing, numeracy and investigating are thoroughly covered and we also ensure we respond to the needs of a rapidly changing world. We keep fully up to date with new technology and we have invested a great deal in computer equipment to provide children with the latest resources available. We place great emphasis on healthy lifestyles, keeping fit and caring for the environment.

We organise many exciting educational experiences to enrich learning - theatre companies, speakers, musical events, visits, sports activities and swimming and make extensive use of the rich range of opportunities that Northamptonshire offers. There are many after school and lunchtime clubs and we place great emphasis on all children being physically active and healthy. We make sure that learning is exciting and fun for your child in a safe and secure environment.

Within our school community we have a caring atmosphere and attach great importance to consideration for others and recognition of each other’s achievements. We have high expectations with respect to behaviour and courtesy and receive many compliments from visitors with regard to the conduct of all our pupils.

We are very proud of our school. We have a team of dedicated and highly effective staff, caring and committed governors and motivated and enthusiastic pupils. We work together to set high standards in our work, and are committed to continuous improvement.


We are pleased to show parents around our school, so that the atmosphere and ethos can be experienced first hand. We welcome this as an opportunity to explain our aims and to be able to answer any questions.
