Tag Rugby


The Tag Rugby Club meets on Tuesdays between 3.15 and 4.15pm, during Terms 1 and 4, and is open to children in Years 4, 5, and 6.  Tag rugby is a fast-moving, non-contact invasion game suitable for boys and girls to play together.  A range of skills is developed through playing the game, including running, ball handling and co-operation.  This year the club is being run by an external coach who has officiated at rugby league matches at Wembley!


We take part in tournaments organised by the Roade Sports College, playing against other schools within the Roade Family.  Our team has been very successful in the past, winning the Roade Family Tag Rugby Festival many times.


We have a good committed group of children in our Tag Rugby Club, and are very proud of their team spirit and achievements.
